SYNOPSIS
アップルとオニオンは洗練された人工の食べ物たちに溢れた街で変人として生きる。でもそのことをあまり悪いことだとは思っていない。モダンな大人の生活について何も知らないし、社会のルールもそう。学ぶだけの忍耐がない。だから二人にとっては街のみなが退屈だと思うことすべてが新しいし、エキサイティング。新鮮な目で物事を眺め、楽しくて予期せぬ、しばしば洞察に満ちた現代生活を作り出す。
Apple and Onion are the odd ones out in a city full of urbane, slick manufactured foods. But they don't see this as a bad thing. Even though they know nothing about modern adult life, or the rules and norms of society, they cannot wait to learn. Everything that city folk find mundane is new and exciting for Apple and Onion. They see things with fresh eyes and this makes for a fun, unexpected and often insightful take on modern life.

ジョージ・ゲンディはカートゥーンネットワークの来るべきオリジナルシリーズのパイロットApple & Onionの作者である。この作品は、2015年、Cartoon Network UK in Q4でプレミア上映された。それ以前、彼は受賞を重ねるアニメーション・シリーズ「おかしなガムボール」シーズンワンのストーリーボード・アーティストとして働いていた。キングストン大学で学び、ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートでアニメーションの修士号を取った。インディペンデントの制作スタジオ兼アニメーションスタジオ「シャーベット」の監督や、ニコロデオンのストーリーボード・アーティストとしても仕事をした。
George Gendi is the creator of Cartoon Network Studios' upcoming original pilot Apple & Onion, which is slated to premiere on Cartoon Network UK in Q4 2015. Before that, he worked as a storyboard artist on Season One of the award-winning animated series The Amazing World of Gumball. He studied at Kingston University and went on to do a masters in animation at the Royal College of Art. He has also worked as a director for independent production company and animation studio, Sherbet and as a storyboard artist for Nickelodeon.
