SYNOPSIS
デジタルの不可思議さを通し離れた場所への旅によって語られる恋、人生そして狂気のお話。20世紀の後半イギリスの東海岸を舞台に、過去にとらわれた二人の男が、さびれて哀愁に満ちた海辺のリゾートをさまよう。
A tale of love, life and lunacy told via an estranged odyssey through the digital uncanny. Set along the East Coast of Britain in the latter half of the 20th Century, two deeply introspective and nostalgic men wander through a melancholic seaside resort as it languishes in its dying throes.

Josh Wedlake
元々ケンブリッジ大学で建築を学んでいたが、アメリカのBitFilmsでインターンとして働いている間にアニメーションの興味を深めていった。1年間伝統的な手書きの手法を駆使して従事した後、ロンドンのロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アートの卒業作品としてすべてCGによる『The North Sea Riviera』を制作した。
監督の経歴 Josh Wedlake originally trained as an Architect at the University of Cambridge. Following his degree he interned at BitFilms USA where his interest in Animation developed. After spending a year working with traditional hand-drawn techniques he produced ‘The North Sea Riviera’ in full CG as his graduation piece from the Royal College of Art, London.
