監督でありアーティストであるロストと彼のスタジオロストA.Dは、ミュージックビデオ、テレビの仕事、そして自主制作の短編映画で知られている。短編映画の『Anglobilly Feverson』は、ロッテダム映画祭でワールドプレミアが行われ、その後有名な国際映画祭で次々と上映され、ロストの作品が世界的に認められることとなった。次の短編『Jona/Tomberry』はカンヌ映画祭2005でのグランプリ・カンヌプラスの受賞作でもあるが, 映画三部作『Mind My Gap』を完結させるものでもあった。『Mind My Gap』は、ロストA.Dのオンライングラフィック小説（www.rostoAD.comで続行中）で始まった混合メディアプロジェクトで、音楽、印刷物、そして映画も含めて続いている。映画と関連する仕事の回顧展が、2008年のアヌシーなどいくつかの国際映画フェスティバルで開かれた。ロストはまたゲスト講師や審査員としても世界中で引く手あまたとなっている。

Director/artist Rosto, and his Studio Rosto A.D, are well known for music videos, television work and independent short films.nThe short "(the rise and fall of the legendary) Anglobilly Feverson" had its world premiere at the Rotterdam Film Festival, followed by an impressnive string of prestigious international festivals and worldwide recognition of Rosto’s work. The next short film "Jona/Tomberry", winner of the Grand Prix Canal+ at the Cannes Film Festival 2005, concluded the trilogy ofn"Mind My Gap" films.n"Mind My Gap" is Rosto A.D’s mixed media project that started with an online graphic novel (still running on www.rostoAD.com), and continued wnith music and print as well as films. A retrospective of the film- and related work has been presented on several international festivals, including Annecy in 2008. Rosto is also very much in demand all over the world asna guest lecturer or jury member. Music has always been a driving force in Rosto’s films. His work got the attention of international (music) artists who shown interest to work with the director. For his latest opus “The Monster of Nix” this resulted in a collaboration with the Metropole Orkest, ThenResidents, Terry Gilliam and Tom Waits.nAutour de Minuit / TITRE FILM- 2/3 Rosto is working on a series of four Wreckers-films, of which "Lonely Bones" is the second and most recent installment, and is developing several future projects.
