本プログラムは、2025年アカデミー賞®で長編アニメーション賞受賞した『Flow』を上映します。上映後に本作品の監督であり長編部門国際審査員のギンツ・ジルバロディス氏と、アニメーション監督の押山清高氏（劇場アニメ『ルックバック』監督）を迎え、小規模な独自の制作スタイルを立ち上げたお二人に、アニメーション制作の新しい歩みについてお伺いします。
The world seems to be coming to an end, teeming with the vestiges of a human presence. Cat is a solitary animal, but as its home is devastated by a great flood, it finds refuge on a boat populated by various species and will have to team up with them despite their differences. In the lonesome boat sailing through mystical overflowed landscapes, they navigate the challenges and dangers of adapting to this new world.
SYNOPSIS
世界が大洪水に包まれ、今にも街が消えようとする中、ある一匹の猫は居場所を後に旅立つ事を決意する。流れて来たボートに乗り合わせた動物たちと、想像を超えた出来事や予期せぬ危機に襲われることに。しかし彼らの中で少しずつ友情が芽生えはじめ、たくましくなっていく。彼らは運命を変える事が出来るのか？そして、この冒険の果てにあるものとは―？

ギンツ・ジルバロディス ( Gints ZILBALODIS )
1994年、ラトビア生まれ。映像作家、アニメーター。3年半の歳月を費やして一人で作り上げた長編デビュー作『Away』が、2019年のアヌシ―国際アニメーション映画祭コントルシャン賞を受賞。幼い頃から映画製作興味を持ち、10代の頃から短編映画の制作に取り組む。『Away』の以前にも、手書きアニメーション、3Dアニメーション、実写など、様々な表現形式で7本の短編映画を手掛けてきた。長編2作目となる『Flow』は、2024年カンヌ国際映画祭「ある視点」部門にてワールドプレミア上映後、同年のアヌシ―国際アニメーション映画祭で審査員賞、観客賞含む4冠を受賞。2025年のアカデミー賞国際長編映画祭ラトビア代表に選出、各国の映画祭で上映され、高い評価を集めている。
Gints Zilbalodis(1994) is a Latvian filmmaker best known for directing ‘Flow’ (2024) which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and was also nominated for Best International Feature Film becoming the first independent feature film to win this award and the first Latvian film to be nominated. Zilbalodis debut feature film ‘Away’, which he made entirely by himself, won the Best Feature Film Contrechamp Award in Annecy. Prior to ‘Away’ he made 7 short films in various mediums including hand-drawn animation, 3D animation and live-action and often mixing their characteristic aesthetics. In 2019 he founded Dream Well Studio.

押山清高 ( OSHIYAMA Kiyotaka )
1982年、福島県生まれ。2004年よりアニメーターとして活動を開始し、2006年には『電脳コイル』で作画監督を務める。以後、さまざまな作品やアニメ制作スタジオにおいて、監督・脚本・デザインなど幅広い役割を担う。2017年にアニメーション制作会社スタジオドリアンを設立し、短編作品『SHISHIGARI』を制作。2024年には、監督・脚本・キャラクターデザイン・作画監督・原画を務めた劇場アニメ『ルックバック』を発表。同作は、第48回日本アカデミー賞をはじめ、第34回日本映画批評家大賞、第49回報知映画賞、第16回TAMA映画賞など、国内外で多数の賞を受賞した。
Born in 1982 in Fukushima, Japan. Kiyotaka Oshiyama began his career as an animator in 2004, and by 2006, he served as animation director on Dennō Coil. Since then, he has played a wide range of roles across various anime productions and studios, including director, screenwriter, and designer.
In 2017, he established the animation studio Studio Durian and created the original short film SHISHIGARI.
In 2024, he released the feature-length animated film Look Back, for which he served as director, screenwriter, character designer, chief animation director, and key animator. The film garnered widespread acclaim, receiving numerous awards including the 48th Japan Academy Prize, the 34th Japan Film Critics Award, the 49th Hochi Film Award, and the 16th TAMA Film Award.
