Hurikán
SYNOPSIS
Hurikánはお気に入りのビール・スタンドを閉店から救うために新しい樽を取ってくることで、彼が片思いをしているバーテンダーにいい印象を与えようと急いで飛び出す。荒涼としたプラハ地区で彼は泥棒や警官と出会い、そして彼自身の渇きと直面する。
Hurikán rushes out to save his favourite beer stand from closure by fetching a new keg to impress the bartender he has a crush on. In a wild Prague district, he faces robbers, cops, and his own thirst.

ヤン・サスカはチェコのアニメーション監督で漫画作家。プラハ芸術アカデミー映像学部の卒業制作映画で、死に関するブラックコメディの『Happy End』は、2016年にカンヌ映画祭の監督週間で初上映された後、世界中の多くの映画祭で上映され、25以上の賞を受賞し、2017年のアカデミー賞の候補作となった。ヤンの最新作『Hurikán』は彼のオリジナル漫画に登場する同名のキャラクターを元にした短編コメディだ。ヤンは長年の共同制作者であるマレク・ポコルニーとヴォイティエフ・キスと共に、漫画とアニメーションに打ち込むアート・グループ、True Loversの一員である。
Jan Saska is a Czech animation director and comics author. After premiering at la Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at Cannes in 2016 his FAMU graduation film 'Happy End', a black comedy about death, has been screened on numerous film festivals worldwide, received more than twenty-five awards and was shortlisted for the 2017 Oscars. Jan’s latest project – Hurikán – is a short comedy based on Jan’s original comic character of the same name. Together with his longtime collaborators – Marek Pokorný and Vojtěch Kiss – Jan is part of True Lovers, an artistic group dedicated to comics and animation.
