長編部門およびNEW CHITOSE 30 Seconds部門の国際審査員である平尾隆之氏が監督された映画『映画大好きポンポさん』の、35㎜フィルム版を上映します。また、平尾氏と株式会社CLAPからプロデューサーの松尾亮一郎氏、株式会社KADOKAWAからプロデューサーの新井孝介氏を迎え、現在制作中の映画についてなどのトークを開催します。（聞き手：田中大裕）
The 35mm film version of the movie “Pompo the Cinephile” directed by Takayuki Hirao, a member of the international jury for both the Feature Film category and the NEW CHITOSE 30 Seconds category, will be screened. In addition, Mr. Hirao, Ryoichiro Matsuo (producer from CLAP), and Kosuke Arai (producer from KADOKAWA) will join up for a talk session about their projects currently in production among other topics. SYNOPSIS
敏腕映画プロデューサー・ポンポさんのもとで製作アシスタントをしているジーン。映画に心を奪われた彼は、観た映画をすべて記憶している映画通だ。映画を撮ることにも憧れていたが、自分には無理だと卑屈になる毎日。だが、ポンポさんに15秒CMの制作を任され、映画づくりに没頭する楽しさを知るのだった。 ある日、ジーンはポンポさんから次に制作する映画『MEISTER』の脚本を渡される。伝説の俳優の復帰作にして、頭がしびれるほど興奮する内容。大ヒットを確信するが……なんと、監督に指名されたのはCMが評価されたジーンだった！
ポンポさんの目利きにかなった新人女優をヒロインに迎え、波瀾万丈の撮影が始まろうとしていた。
Pompo is a talented and gutsy producer in “Nyallywood,” the movie-making capital of the world. Although she’s known for B-movies, one day Pompo tells her movie-loving but apprehensive assistant Gene that he will direct her next script: a delicate drama about a tormented artistic genius, starring the legendary and Brando-esque actor Martin Braddock, and a young actress seeking her first break. But when the production heads towards chaos, can Gene rise to Pompo’s challenge, and succeed as a first-time director?

監督・脚本・演出。小説家。香川県出身。マッドハウス、ufotableを経て、現在フリーランスのディレクターとして様々な作品を手がける。現在はCLAP作品を中心に活動中。代表作は映画『映画大好きポンポさん』（監督・脚本）、TV『ゴッドイーター』(監督・脚本)、映画『空の境界 第5章～矛盾螺旋～』（監督）、短編『桜の温度』（監督・原作・脚本）、映画『魔女っこ姉妹のヨヨとネネ』（監督・脚本）など。2019年に小説「のけもの王子とバケモノ姫」を出版。現在は『映画大好きポンポさん』チームと最新オリジナル映画を制作中。
Director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist. Born in Kagawa Prefecture. A freelance director on various productions after working at MADHOUSE and ufotable. Currently working mainly on CLAP Animation Studio’s works. His works include ‘Pompo: The Cinéphile’ (movie, director and screenplay), ‘GOD EATER’ (TV anime, director and screenplay), ‘The Garden of Sinners – Paradox Paradigm’ (movie, director), the short film ‘Sakura no Ondo (Temperature of the cherry blossom)’ (director, story, screenplay), and ‘Yoyo and Nene, the Little Witch Sisters’ (movie, director and screenplay). In 2019 he published the novel ‘Nokemono Ouji to Bakemono Hime’. He is currently working on his latest original film with the team of ‘Pompo: The Cinéphile’.

松尾亮一郎 ( MATSUO Ryoichiro )
制作プロデューサー
株式会社CLAP代表取締役プロデューサー。長崎県出身。1999年マッドハウスに入社。プロデューサーとしてTV『BLACK LAGOON』、映画『マイマイ新子と千年の魔法』などを担当。退社後はフリーの制作として、映画『魔女っこ姉妹のヨヨとネネ』、映画『この世界の片隅に』の制作プロデューサーを担当した後、CLAPを設立。CLAPでの代表作は映画『映画大好きポンポさん』（2021年・平尾隆之監督）、映画『夏へのトンネル、さよならの出口』（2022年・田口智久監督）現在は2本のオリジナル映画、『ホウセンカ』（木下麦監督）、『WASTED CHEF（仮）』（平尾隆之監督）をCLAPにて制作中。
