SYNOPSIS
押井守と森本晃司が初めてタッグを組んで制作した、KENWOODのスマートヘッドフォンセットのプロモーション作品。舞台は架空の未来都市。音声アシスタントを搭載したスマートヘッドセットを装着し、その多彩な機能を使って生活することが一般化した世界で、女子高生がUFOに引き寄せられて未知の生命体と遭遇する。

A promotional film for KENWOOD’s smart headphone set, marking the first collaboration between OSHII Mamoru and MORIMOTO Koji. Set in a fictional city of the future, the story takes place in a world where wearing smart headsets equipped with voice assistants and using their various functions has become part of everyday life. A high school girl is drawn toward a UFO and encounters an unknown life-form.

アニメーション制作会社STUDIO4℃の創設に携わり、2009年の独立後クリエイティブチームPhy(ファイ)を主宰。 アニメーション制作はプロットからレイアウト、絵コンテ、キャラクターデザイン、原画、背景、美術、全てのパートを担当する業界でも数少ないアニメーション監督。 また3DCGIと手描きアニメーションを融合させた作品を黎明期より生み出し、その為のソフトも開発するなど現在の日本独自のセルルックアニメーションの手法の礎を築いた第一人者。
He co-founded the animation production company STUDIO4℃ (Musashino-shi, Tokyo), and after becoming independent in 2009, he co-founded the creative team, Phy. He is one of the few animation directors in the industry who handles all parts of the animation production process, from plotting, storyboarding, layout, character design, key animation, and backgrounds. He has been creating works that blend 3D CGI and hand-drawn animation since the early days of animation and is also a pioneer in the development of software for the fusion of 3D CGI and hand-drawn animation, laying the foundation for Japan’s current unique Cel shading animation techniques.
