Gina KAMENTSKY
実験アニメーション作家。ファウンド・フッテージに直接イメージを描画していくダイレクト・アニメーションの手法を用いており、フィルムの表面にファウンド・フッテージを直接コラージュしている。彼女は作品において、表層とリズムと身ぶりと、屋外で録音された音声との相互作用を探っている。アヌシー、オタワの国際アニメーション映画祭、そしてアナーバー映画祭と数多くの映画祭で上映されている。
Gina Kamentsky is an experimental animator who creates handmade films by drawing and painting directly onto found film footage. In addition, she collages elements from found film onto the surface. In her work, she explores relationships between surface, rhythm, gesture and field recorded sound. Her animation work has screened at numerous festivals including Annecy, Ottawa International Animation Festival and the Ann Arbor Film Festival.
