Alberto Vázquez

1980年のスペインのア・コルーニャ生まれのアニメーション監督、イラストレーター、漫画家。その著作や漫画は、スペイン、フランス、イタリア、ブラジル、中国、トルコ、韓国で出版されている。短編アニメーションの脚本と監督を務めた作品は『Birdboy』、『ユニコーンの血』、『Decorado』。彼の作品は、カンヌ、トロント、アヌシー、クレルモン＝フェラン、ザグレブ、スラムダンスといった著名な国際映画祭で上映され、3度のゴヤ賞を含め100以上の賞を受賞した。初の長編作品『サイコノータス 忘れられたこどもたち』は彼の同名グラフィック・ノベルをベースにした作品で、現在は2作目の長編『Unicorn Wars』を制作中。

He has written and directed short animation as Birdboy,Unicorn Blood and Decorado. His works have been exhibited in prestigious festivals worldwide as Cannes, Toronto, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Animafest Zagreb or Slamdance, and he has won over 100 awards in international events including three Goya awards.
He has released his first featured film Psiconautas, based on the graphic novel of the same name by the own Vázquez, and his now working on his second feature film Unicorn Wars.
