SYNOPSIS

私達が普段目にする映像は、一見その出来事の全てを写し取っているように見えます。しかし、画面の外側に何があるのかを私達は知ることはできないし、それらの映像には一部の例外を除きそれを作った人の意思が介在しています。 本作は、「情報の操作」をテーマに作成しました。一つの事実も一部を見たり順番を変えて見るだけで、全く別の印象になります。情報の無数に存在する現代の社会で私たちは何を信じていけば良いのでしょう。

We tend to assume that the videos which we come across in our daily lives are showing true realities. However, we cannot know what exists outside the screen. And in most cases videos carry the intentions of who made them. The theme of this work is “Media Manipulation” One fact can be understood completely differently depending on the parts of the story that you see and the order in which you see them. What can we trust in this modern world overflowing with information?
