「間」と「気持ちのいい動き」を大きなテーマに作品をつくっています。このふたつを強く意識し始めた作品『鼻の日』から近年の作品までを制作年順に上映することで、私が重視している気持ちのいい「間」や「動き」をしつこいくらいタップリと感じてもらうとともに、時を経るごとに変わってきたものも観てもらえるのではないかと思います。（和田淳）
The main subjects of my work have been “Ma (interval)” and “comfortable movements”. By showing the works I made with the strong consciousness of these topics in chronological order from Day of Nose to the recent films, I think you can feel comfortable “Ma” and Movements well, or too much. I also think you can see things that have changed in me over time.(Atsushi Wada)

和田 淳 ( WADA Atsushi )
アニメーション作家1980年兵庫県生。大阪教育大学、イメージフォーラム付属映像研究所、東京藝術大学大学院で映像を学ぶ。2002年頃から独学でアニメーションを制作しはじめ、「間」と「気持ちいい動き」を大きなテーマに制作を続けている。『わからないブタ』（10）がファントーシュ国際アニメーション映画祭でBest film、文化庁メディア芸術祭で優秀賞等国内外の映画祭で受賞。『春のしくみ』（10）がベネチア映画祭オリゾンティ部門で上映され、『グレートラビット』（12）がベルリン国際映画祭短編部門で銀熊賞を受賞する。また『秋 アントニオ・ヴィヴァルディ「四季」より』が新千歳空港国際アニメーション映画祭で日本グランプリを受賞。映画『私は猫ストーカー』（09）、『ゲゲゲの女房』（10）『ディアーディアー』（15）でアニメーションパートを担当する。現在、大手前大学准教授、大阪教育大学、京都精華大学非常勤講師。
Born in 1980. Graduated from Osaka kyoiku University, Image Forum Institute of Moving image and Tokyo University of the Arts. Began to create the short animation works in self-study from 2002. Like to make comfortable movements and is always thinking about the Japanese traditional concept called “Ma”, the tension produced between movements. In a Pig’s Eye (2010) won the Best Film at Fantoche International Animation Film Festival, and Silver Jabberwocky at Etiuda and Anima. The Mechanism of Spring (2010) premiered at the Venice Film Festival and The Great Rabbit (2012) won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. Autumn from Antonio Vivaldi “The Four Seasons” (2018) won Japan Grand Prix at New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival.
