Herman's quiet, colourful world is suddenly interrupted by something loud and stressful. Combining digital animation with traditional ink-on-film techniques, Herman Brown is a film about life, anxiety, and learning how to cope with both.

エディンバラ美術大学でアニメーションを学び、その短編作品は世界中の映画祭で作品が上映されている。英国アカデミー賞にノミネートされたプレイステーション4用のインディ・ゲームソフト「Tearaway Unfolded」の制作メンバーでもある。長年に渡り、広告、短編映像、プレイステーション用のゲームソフト制作に携わった後、故郷のロンドンに帰り王立芸術院でアニメーションの修士号を取得する。カラフルで正直、遊び心にあふれる作風が魅力で、そしておそらく誰よりも背の高い作家である。
Dan Castro was born. He studied Animation at Edinburgh College of Art,his short films have been screened at festivals across the world,and he was part of the BAFTA-nominated team behind Playstation 4 indie success Tearaway Unfolded. After years making adverts,short films and playstation games, he returned home to his native London and to get an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art. Which he did. His work is colourful,honest,playful,and he is taller than you,probably.
