ラブ ゲームズ LOVE GAMES
SYNOPSIS
小さな頃にしていた遊びを思い出す。一緒に楽しく遊んでいたものだが、振り返ってみると、私は自分の欲望を満たすために遊びを利用していたことに気づかされる。それは子どもの自己中心的なふるまいだった。けれども大人の恋人たちも、互いに未熟な面を見せることがある。自己愛に溺れ、子どもじみた行動をとってしまう。本作ではそのような愛を子どもの遊びというメタファーを通じて描いている。
I remember the games I played when I was young. We were happy playing together, but, looking back, I realize I used the games to satisfy my own desires. It was a child’s selfcentered behavior. But adult lovers, too, display immature sides in their relationships. Consumed by self-love, they act like children. I have tried to illustrate this kind of love through the metaphor of children’s games.

Yumi Joung
1981年韓国生まれ。国民大学校で美術を学び（2000-2004）、その間に彼女の作品は2つの展示会『Mind Map』と『Ill Liquid』で展示された。その後アニメーションの演出を韓国フィルムアカデミーで学んだ（2004-2006）。ジョンの卒業短編アニメ作品『My Small Doll House』は、広島国際アニメーション映画祭のコンテスト部門や他の多くの国際映画祭で上映されている。2009年、短編アニメDust Kid（ダスト・キッド）の脚本、監督を手がけた。この作品はカンヌ映画祭の監督週間や他の50以上の国際映画祭で上映され、10を超える国際的な賞を受けている。2010年には短編映画Math Test （数学のテスト）の脚本、監督を担当したが、この作品はベルリン国際映画祭の短編映画コンテスト部門や他の国際映画祭に招待されている。Math TestもアルテTVで放送された。Love Games（ラブ・ゲーム）は2013年の脚本、監督作品だ。この作品は2013年2月10日にベルリン国際映画祭の短編映画コンテスト部門でワールドプレミアされた。
Born in Korea in 1981, Joung Yumi studied Fine Arts at Kookmin University (2000-2004), during which her works appeared in two exhibitions, “Mind Map” and “Ill Liquid.” She subsequently studied Animation Directing at Korean Academy of Film Arts (2004-2006). Joung’s graduation short animation, “My Small Doll House” has been screened in the Competition section at Hiroshima International Animation Festival and at many other international film festivals. nIn 2012, Joung wrote and directed the short animation, “Love Games.” Love Games will have its international première at the official short film competition section at Berlin International Film Festival in February 2013.
