SYNOPSIS
あるダイバーがヒトデ（starfish）と空の星（star）の宿命的な関係を発見する。ある晩夜空から一つの星が消えたことに気がついたマフィアの男は、すぐさまそれがダイバーの仕業だと疑う。マフィアの男の情婦がダイバーを誘惑して薬を飲ませ、消えた星を見つけようとするが、女も一緒に眠ってしまう。nダイバーと女は夢の中で恋に落ち、マフィアの男を激怒させる。空の星々は絶望してバランスを失い、邪悪なヒトデが攻撃を開始する。
A diver discovers the fateful connection between starfish and the stars in the sky. When a star disappears from the heavens one night, a mafioso notices it and immediately starts suspecting the diver. The mafioso’s girlfriend seduces and drugs the diver in order to find the lost star but she falls asleep as well.nnIn their sleep, they fall in love and that makes the mafioso lose his temper. The stars in the sky hopelessly lose their balance and the evil starfish launch their attack.

Mattias Mälk
1987年9月25日タリンに生まれる。nn2006年から2012年までエストニア芸術アカデミーでアニメーションを学ぶ。最初のアニメーション作品として『Saturday Matinée』（2008）、そして人形アニメ映画の『On the Wrong Side』（2009）を学部時代に作る。2作目の作品『Tutu Funnytooth』（2011）は修士終了作品として作られた。nnテレビの連続番組のキャラクターアニメーター、そして『XYZtopia』のアートディレクターと3Dモデラーを担当している。また、漫画のイラストレーションや描画もこなし、エストニア芸術アカデミーとエストニア応用科学起業家大学でアニメーションを教えている。2013年、『Northern Starfish』の監督としてEesti Joonisfilmスタジオで働きはじめる。
Born on 25 September 1987 in Tallinn.nnStudied animation in 2006–2012 at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Made his first animated film ”Saturday Matinée” (2008) and animated the puppet film ”On the Wrong Side” (2009) as an undergraduate. He completed his second animated film ”Tutu Funnytooth” (2011) to complete his master’s studies.nnHe has worked as a television serial character animator and as the art director and 3D modeller for the animated film ”XYZtopia”. In addition, he has illustrated and drawn comics, and he has taught animation at the Estonian Academy of Arts and at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences. He began work at Eesti Joonisfilm Studio in 2013 as the director of the animated film ”Northern Starfish”.
