キャサリン・バファット（1966年6月6日生まれ）サンテティエンヌのファインアーツアカデミーで学んだ後、中割りやコマ撮りのアニメーションの仕事をした。1998年、彼女は子供向けの本『オーガ』のイラストを担当。 1998年から2004年には、人形映画のアニメートを行い、グラフィック・デザイナーとしても働いた。17年前、フォリマージュにてジャン＝リュック・グレコと出会って以来、両者は8本の短編映画を作った。 ジャン=リュック・グレコ（1965年7月30日生まれ）1983年、ジャン=リュック・グレコはヴァランスの美術芸術アカデミーのグラフィックデザイン学科に入学。勉学の後、セットと人形のデザイナーとしてフォリマージュで仕事を始めた。様々なアニメーション技術を発見したのち、1991年には中割りをやるように。Spataという名前で、マンガ、子供向けの書籍、イラストを出版している。ボローニャの国際児童図書展、東京の板橋美術館、ヴァランスの劇場で展示も行っている。フォリマージュにてキャサリン・バファットと出会い、共同監督としてのコラボレーションがその後始まった。

Catherine Buffat • Born on June 6th 1966　Biographie : After her studies at the Fine Arts Academy of Saint-Etienne, Catherine Buffat worked as an opaquer, inbetweener and stop motion animator. In 1998, she illustrated the children's book “The Ogre” (Editions du Ha Ha!). From 1998 to 2004, she animated puppet films (“La Cancion du microsillon” by Laurent Pouvaret, “A Love of TV's” by Denis Walgenwitz) and worked as a graphic designer. Her path crossed Jean-Luc Gréco at Folimage 17 years ago, and their collaboration gave birth to 8 short films. Jean-Luc Greco • Born on July 30th 1965 in Saint-Chamond, France　Biography : In 1983, Jean-Luc Greco entered the Graphic design department of the Fine Arts Academy of Valence. After his studies, he started to work at Folimage Studio as a designer of sets and puppets. He discovered various animation techniques and became a inbetweener in 1991. He published comics, children's books and illustrations, under the pen name Spata. He exhibited at the International Children’s Book Fair in Bologna, at the Itabashi Museum in Tokyo and at Valence’s Theater. He met Catherine Buffat at Folimage where their collaboration as codirectors has begun.
