水江未来 (MIZUE Mirai)
1981年福岡県出身。多摩美術大学大学院修了（グラフィックデザイン学科）。 短編作品「MODERN No.2」は、ヴェネチア映画祭2011にノミネートされ、翌年のアヌシー国際アニメーション映画祭では、音楽賞を受賞した。 また、短編作品「WONDER」は、ベネチア映画祭2014にノミネートされ、同年のアヌシー国際アニメーション映画祭では、CANAL+賞を受賞した。 現在、「西遊記」を原作にした初の長編アニメーションを製作中。
Born in Fukuoka, in 1981. During his study in the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University, ""MODERN NO.2"" was selected for the Orizzonti section of the Venice International Film Festival, and received SACEM Award (an award for best music) at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2012. “WONDER, ” a nominee at the 64th Berlinale, won CANAL+Creative Aid Award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2014. Currently he is working on his first feature animation film based on ""Journey to the West."
