SYNOPSIS

映写事故で本編から切り離されたフィルムクズ。千切れたコマは映写できない。しかし、私は、集積したフィルム片から像と共に物理的なダメージを抽出し新たな映画へと再構築した。この作品は、映画や写真の欠片がゴミとして朽ちるのか再び映像表現となり得るかの問題提起である。

Scrap of the film separated from the main part of the movie by projection accident. You can not project frames which were torn off. However, I extracted the physical damage along with the image from the fragment of accumulated film and reconstructed it into a new movie. This work raises a question as to whether the piece of movie or photograph will decay as garbage or whether it can be a picture expression again.
