Piotr DUMAŁA
1956年ワルシャワ生まれ。アニメーター、映画監督、脚本家、演出家、作家。美術専門学校を卒業後、ワルシャワ芸術アカデミーにて学ぶ。2002年から、アメリカのハーバード大学にて教鞭を執る。ポーランド国内外で100以上の賞を受賞し、現在はウッチ映画大学の教授であり、スウェーデン国立芸術工芸デザイン大学（コンストファック）のアニメーション学科の学生にも教えている。
Piotr Dumała was born in Warsaw in 1956. Animator, film director, screenwriter, scenographer, writer, after having graduated at Art School he studied at the Fine Art Academy of Warsaw. Since February 2002 he has been teaching at Harvard University in the United States. He has won more than 100 prizes and awards in Poland and abroad and at the moment he is a professor at the Lodz Film School, in collaboration with students in Sweden at the Konstfack animation department.
