Polka-dot Boy
SYNOPSIS
少年は物心ついた時から水玉模様の腕の病気に苦しんでいる。そしてある時その病気の秘密を知る。
A boy is suffering from a polka-dot disease on his arms since he can remember. Encountering some peculiar events, he discovers a hidden connection between the disease and a religious group.

ニヘイサリナはフリーランスイラストレーター、アニメーション作家。イギリス、ロンドンの美術大学院Royal College of Artにてアニメーションの修士課程を修了後、そこでの修了制作作品であるSmall People with Hatsがオタワ国際アニメーション映画祭での短編部門グランプリを含め、世界の映画祭にて様々な賞を受賞。日本に帰国後はミュージックビデオや短編制作をしながら、2019-2020年にはデンマークのViborg(ヴィボー）にてアーティスト・イン・レジデンスのOpen Workshopに9ヶ月間参加し現在は日本在住。
Sarina Nihei is a freelance illustrator and animation director from Japan. Having graduated from London’s Royal College of Art with an MA in animation, her graduation film from the RCA won numerous awards including the grand prize at the Ottawa International Animation Festival and was show at festivals around the world. After back in Japan, she has made several music videos and short films. From the early 2019, she participated in the artist in residence programme called Open Workshop in Viborg, where she spent 9 months making her new short film.
