映画監督、脚本家、パフォーミング・アーティスト。失望した大人の目線を通じて、子供時代のノスタルジアの裏を探るミニチュア・メロドラマを制作している。『Charlotte』はトロント国際映画祭でプレミア上映。2016年、舞台演出家で映画監督のジュリー・テイモアは、からくり人形とふすまからくりの調査と記録のため、ドーンを日本に派遣した。
Zach Dorn is a filmmaker, writer, and performing artist who creates miniature melodramas that explore the underbelly of childhood nostalgia through the disappointed eyeballs of adulthood. Most recently, his film, CHARLOTTE, premiered at The Toronto International Film Festival. In 2016, theatre and movie director, Julie Taymor, sent dorn to Japan to research and document karakuri ningyo and fusuma karakuri.
