フランスのアニメーション界を支える重要な教育機関ENSADについて、同校の卒業生であり現在は教師でもある『大人のためのグリム童話 手をなくした少女』の監督セバスチャン・ローデンバックが語る。当時学生でありながら同校のアニメーション学科が設立されるにあたって大きな役割を果たしたローデンバックが、ENSADという学校について、そのアニメーション学科の特徴について、自身の経験を振り返りながら説明する。最後には、ローデンバックの最近の動向（キアラ・マルタと共同監督となる新作長編アニメーション『Chicken for Linda!』）についてもお伺いする。
Sébastien Laudenbach, director of The Girl without Hands, who is now a teacher and a graduate of ENSAD, talks about ENSAD, an important educational institution supporting the French animation scene. Laudenbach, who played a major role in the establishment of the school’s animation department while still a student at the time, explains about the school and the characteristics of its animation department while reflecting on his own experiences. At the end of the talk, Laudenbach will talk a little about his recent work, his new feature animation “Chicken for Linda”, which he is co-directing with Chiara Marta.

セバスチャン・ローデンバック ( Sébastien Laudenbach )
1973年、フランス北部に生まれる。国立高等装飾美術学校にてアニメーションを学び、現在そこで教えてもいる。『JOURNAL』（1998年、クレルモンフェラン映画祭でYouth賞を受賞）、『DES CALINS DANS LES CUISINES』（2004年、セザール賞の最終選考）、『REGARDER OANA』（2009年、アヌシーおよびクレルモンフェランに選出）、『VASCO』（2010年、カンヌ批評家週間で上映、2012年のセザール賞の最終選考）、『DAPHNÉ OU LA BELLE PLANTE』（2015年、シルヴァン・デロインと共同監督、エミール・レイノー賞受賞）、パリ国立オペラのウェブサイト用に作られた『VIBRATO』といった彼の作品は、数々の著名な映画祭で上映されている。『大人のためのグリム童話 手をなくした少女』は初の長編作品で、グリム童話の短編を原作としている。
