SYNOPSIS

『clojector』は、布で作ったアニメーションフィルムと、フィルムを映写する映写機の作品。既存のフィルム以外の素材でフィルムを作れないかを考え、私たちが毎日着ている素材である布を使用した。アニメーションは糸から布へ、布から糸へ変化する様子を描いた。本動画は前半部分が布のフィルムができるまでの動画、後半部分が実際に投影した際の動画となっている。

“clojector” is an animation film made of cloth and a projector that projects the film. The artist wondered if it would be possible to make a film using materials other than existing film, and used a material that we wear every day: cloth. The animation depicts the transformation from thread to cloth and from cloth to thread. The first half of this animation shows the process of making the cloth film, and the second half shows the actual projection of the film.
