SYNOPSIS
主人公は、偽の記憶を与えられ本当は縁もゆかりもない人たちと、カプセルホールの中で「家族」として生活している6人の男女。外の世界を知らず、作られた日常を繰り返す彼らの模様は、リアルなホームドラマとして架空の都市「チャンポンシティ」の中で中継されていたのだった。その斬新なストーリー構成、アンリアルな世界観設定は内外に大きな反響を与え、ファンキーなノリとイカしたビジュアルの刺激的な映像は、何度も繰り返し見たくなる不思議な魅力に満ち溢れている。

アニメーション制作会社STUDIO4℃の創設に携わり、2009年の独立後クリエイティブチームPhy(ファイ)を主宰。 アニメーション制作はプロットからレイアウト、絵コンテ、キャラクターデザイン、原画、背景、美術、全てのパートを担当する業界でも数少ないアニメーション監督。 また3DCGIと手描きアニメーションを融合させた作品を黎明期より生み出し、その為のソフトも開発するなど現在の日本独自のセルルックアニメーションの手法の礎を築いた第一人者。
He co-founded the animation production company STUDIO4℃ (Musashino-shi, Tokyo), and after becoming independent in 2009, he co-founded the creative team, Phy. He is one of the few animation directors in the industry who handles all parts of the animation production process, from plotting, storyboarding, layout, character design, key animation, and backgrounds. He has been creating works that blend 3D CGI and hand-drawn animation since the early days of animation and is also a pioneer in the development of software for the fusion of 3D CGI and hand-drawn animation, laying the foundation for Japan’s current unique Cel shading animation techniques.
