Glass House
SYNOPSIS
『Glass House』は、破壊的な没入感をもたらすビデオと音響を組み合わせた作品である。それはガラスのバベルの塔であり、うっとりするほど美しい万華鏡。SF小説から借りてきたような、魅力と嫌悪感が入り混じった感覚だ。
Glass House is a video-sonic work, a disruptive immersive experience. It's the glass Tower of Babel, a kaleidoscope with hypnotic beauty. It's a sensation, mixed with attraction and repulsion, borrowed from science fiction novels.

タルブ芸術・陶芸学校を修了した後、アングレームのアニメーション専門学校ＥＭＣＡで学んだボリス・ラベ（1987年フランス生まれ）の作品は、瞬く間に現代美術展、国際映画祭、オーディオビジュアル･コンサートなどで取り上げられるようになる。最新の短編映画『La Chute』は、2018年カンヌ映画祭･批評家週間の特別セッションに選出された。2020年には振付師アンジュラン･プレルジョカージュとのコラボレーションで、『白鳥の湖』のビデオセットデザインを手がける。現在はバーチャルリアリティ･プロジェクト（Ito Meikyu、サクレブルー･プロダクションズ制作）を進行中。
Trained at the École supérieure d’art de Tarbes and then at the École de cinéma d’animation d’Angoulême, the work of Boris Labbé (1987, FR) quickly made the rounds of contemporary art exhibitions, international film festivals or audiovisual concerts. His latest short film 'La Chute' was included in the selection of the special session of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival Critics’ Week. In 2020, he collaborated with choreographer Angelin Preljocaj and designed the video set design for Swan Lake. He is currently developing a virtual reality project (Ito Meikyu, Sacrebleu Productions).
