監督・脚本・演出。小説家。香川県出身。マッドハウス、ufotableを経て、現在フリーランスのディレクターとして様々な作品を手がける。現在はCLAP作品を中心に活動中。代表作は映画『映画大好きポンポさん』（監督・脚本）、TV『ゴッドイーター』(監督・脚本)、映画『空の境界 第5章～矛盾螺旋～』（監督）、短編『桜の温度』（監督・原作・脚本）、映画『魔女っこ姉妹のヨヨとネネ』（監督・脚本）など。2019年に小説「のけもの王子とバケモノ姫」を出版。現在は『映画大好きポンポさん』チームと最新オリジナル映画を制作中。

Director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist. Born in Kagawa Prefecture. A freelance director on various productions after working at MADHOUSE and ufotable. Currently working mainly on CLAP Animation Studio’s works. His works include ‘Pompo: The Cinéphile’ (movie, director and screenplay), ‘GOD EATER’ (TV anime, director and screenplay), ‘The Garden of Sinners - Paradox Paradigm’ (movie, director), the short film ‘Sakura no Ondo (Temperature of the cherry blossom)’ (director, story, screenplay), and ‘Yoyo and Nene, the Little Witch Sisters’ (movie, director and screenplay). In 2019 he published the novel ‘Nokemono Ouji to Bakemono Hime’. He is currently working on his latest original film with the team of ‘Pompo: The Cinéphile’.
