Pavel Horáček
チェコ共和国チェスケーブジェヨヴィツェ生まれ。ブルノ市にあるマサリク大学で映画史と視聴覚文化を専攻し、卒業論文ではチェコのアニメーション映画における表現方法と特定のアニメーション技術について論じた。テプリツェで行われたアニフェスト国際アニメーション映画祭のプログラム・ディレクターを3年間務めた。2013年からは、トレボンで設立され、現在はリベレツで開催されているアニフィルム国際アニメーション映画祭のプログラム・ディレクターを務めている。アニメーション作家の作品をオンラインで紹介するaniont.comの共同設立者兼キュレーター。国内外の機関向けにアニメーション映画のプログラムを選出する。映画やアニメーションに関する執筆活動も行っており、様々な国際映画祭で審査員を務めている。
Pavel Horáček was born in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic. He graduated in Film History and Audiovisual Culture from Masaryk University in Brno, devoting his thesis to means of expression and specific animation techniques, namely in Czech animated films. For three years, he worked as programme director at the AniFest, International Festival of Animated Films in Teplice. Since 2013 Pavel has been working as programme director of Anifilm, International Festival of Animated Films, founded in Trebon, settled now in Liberec city. He is an co-founder and curator of the aniont.com, presenting authorial works of animation online. He prepares programmes of animated films for institutions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Pavel writes about film and animation, and served as a jury member of various international festivals.
