このアニメーション作品は、J.S.バッハの『インヴェンションとシンフォニア』から下記の3曲を選んで視覚化したものです。 バッハが作曲したポリフォニーの各声部を、音型に忠実な三次元の形へと置き換え、その上をオブジェクトが移動します。 2声のインヴェンション、3声のシンフォニアにおける各々のメロディの関係性、そして各曲に繰り返し登場するモチーフの展開など、音楽の建築的な構成を視覚的にわかりやすく表現しています。

This animated film visualizes three selected pieces from J.S. Bach’s Inventions and Sinfonias.
Each polyphonic voice is translated into a three-dimensional form that faithfully follows its melodic contour, with objects moving along these spatial structures.
The work visually clarifies the architectural nature of the music—illustrating the relationships between melodies in the two-part Inventions and the three-part Sinfonias, as well as the development of recurring motifs in each piece.
This work consists of the following three pieces:

Invention No. 6 in E Major
Sinfonia No. 6 in E Major

Keita Onishi is a video artist based in Tokyo and Kanagawa, Japan. He specializes in visualizing the structure of music and the textures of sound through animation, creating music videos and video installations. He is also involved in advertising visuals—including commercials, concept films, and motion logos—as well as television content production.
