The Mud Under My Window
SYNOPSIS
エマの１人の母親は忙しすぎて、もう１人の母親はあまりに遠く離れた場所に。彼女は前者の存在を否定し、後者の不在を昇華させる。そして些細な緊張状態から、突然面と向かって対峙することに。心に秘めていたことで、気が動転するようなものだった。
One of Emma’s mother is too busy, the other one is too far away: a presence she rejects, an absence she sublimates. Out of a trivial tension, an intimate and unsettling face-to-face confrontation suddenly arises.

Violette DELVOYE
ヴィオレット・デルヴォワはフランスとノルウェーでアニメーションを学び、ブリュッセルのラ・カンブルで学業を終える。2017年にクロエ・アリエとともに『World in Stop-Motion』を制作し、巡回型かつ参加型のアニメーションシリーズを展開する。2021年には二人でストップモーション・コメディ『Inglorious Liaisons』を共同監督し、アヌシーやサンダンスを含む世界各地の映画祭で高い評価を得る。その後、デルヴォワは2Dアニメーション作品『The Mud Outside My Window』を監督し、2024年に完成させた。
Violette Delvoye studied animation in France and Norway before finishing her studies at la Cambre in Brussels. In 2017, she created with Chloé Alliez "World in Stop-Motion", an itinérant and participative animated series. In 2021 they directed together « Inglorious Liaisons », a comedy in stop-motion which has had a great career in festivals worldwide (including Annecy and Sundance). Then Violette directed a 2D animation film, « The Mud Outside My Window », which finished in 2024.
