Water Girl
SYNOPSIS
素もぐりや釣り、そして海草や岩場の間を滑るように進むことがミアにとっての人生だった。時が過ぎ、彼女の体には線が刻まれ、彼女の周りの景色にも変化が。愛する者たちも消えてしまった。今夜、ミアが過去に思いを寄せる。
Mia has spent her whole life freediving, fishing and gliding through seaweed and rocks. Time has passed, tracing its lines on her body, and shaping the landscapes around her. Loved ones have vanished. Tonight, Mia remembers.

Sandra DESMAZIÈRES
サンドラ・デマジエールは1978年生まれ。パリのデュペレ校とパリ国立高等装飾美術学校（ENSAD）で学び、アニメーションに出会う。2021年に『Flowing Home』を監督。本作はLes Films de l’Arlequin、ONF、France 3が製作し、2022年にセザール賞とアカデミー賞の候補リストに入った。最新作『Water Girl』はオリヴィエ・カトランとカイマン・プロダクションが製作し、AnimaisとValk Productionsが共同製作、Arteが参加。サンドラは現在、新作短編『J28』と長編『Tempête Rouge』に取り組んでいる。
Born in 1978, Sandra Desmazières studied at Duperré and ENSAD in Paris, where she discovered animation. In 2021, she directed "Flowing Home", produced by Les Films de l’Arlequin, the ONF and France 3, shortlisted for the César and Oscar awards in 2022. Her latest film "Water Girl" is produced by Caïmans Productions with Olivier Catherin, and co-produced by Animais and Valk Productions, with the participation of Arte. Sandra is currently working on a new short film project, "J28", and a feature film, "Tempête Rouge".
