本プログラムでは、本映画祭の国際審査員であり、ガスアズインターフェイス株式会社代表取締役の西野慎二郎氏を迎えます。1996年に国内外のクリエイターを紹介するアートブック『GASBOOK』を創刊し、2022年には山梨県でアート複合施設「GASBON METABOLISM」を始動するに至るまでの、アート実践の展開についてお話いただきます。
This program welcomes NISHINO Shinjiro, a member of the International Jury of the festival and CEO of Gas As Interface Inc. He will speak about the development of his art practices, from launching the art book series GASBOOK in 1996, which introduced creators from Japan and abroad, to initiating the art complex GASBON METABOLISM in Yamanashi Prefecture in 2022.

ガスアズインターフェイス株式会社代表取締役。1996年に新しいアートとデザインのアイデアを世界中から集める媒体として「GASBOOK」創刊。2004年に国内外のクリエイターと社会・企業を接合するプラットフォームとして同社設立。2006年より東京 西麻布で「CALM & PUNK GALLERY」を運営している。アートの複合施設「GASBON METABOLISM」を2022年8月に始動させた。
Representative Director, GAS AS INTERFACE CO., LTD. In 1996, Shinjiro Nishino launched "GASBOOK," a platform to gather and showcase new ideas in art and design from around the world. In 2004, he established GAS AS I/F, a company that serves as a platform connecting creators with society and businesses both domestically and internationally. Since 2006, he has been running "CALM & PUNK GALLERY" in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, acting as a bridge between art and business. In August 2022, Nishino also initiated "GASBON METABOLISM," a multi-disciplinary art facility in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, aiming to contribute to the promotion of art and culture.
