本プログラムでは、ウェールズのカーディフアニメーション映画祭が選ぶ、ウェールズ出身またはウェールズを拠点とする映画作家の新作短編アニメーション7作品を上映します。
また、カーディフアニメーション映画祭と新千歳空港国際アニメーション映画祭の連携企画として、特別に北海道教育大学岩見沢校と、育英館大学稚内本校の学生が制作したIdentアニメーションを上映します。
This program, curated by Cardiff Animation Festival, presents seven animated short films by filmmakers from or based in Wales.
We also present a special collaboration between Cardiff Animation Festival and the New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival, featuring Ident animations created by students from Hokkaido University of Education Iwamizawa Campus and Ikueikan University.
INTRODUCTION
2025年、カーディフアニメーション映画祭（ＣＡＦ）チームは、ウェールズで制作された短編アニメーションを特集したプログラムを携えて日本を訪れます。
このプログラムでは、ウェールズ出身またはウェールズを拠点とする映画制作者による７本の作品を上映し、地元発のアニメーションの真髄を体験する機会を提供します。
怨霊をめぐる物語から、ユニークな愛の物語、内なる悪魔との闘い、ペットの剥製、かくれんぼなど、このプログラムはウェールズで生まれた奇妙で素晴らしい作品をご紹介します。日本で皆さんと共有できるのが待ちきれません。ウェールズよ、永遠なれ！
「Wales and Japan」は、ウェールズ芸術評議会とブリティッシュ･カウンシル･ウェールズを通じ、ウェールズ･アーツ･インターナショナル（ＷＡＩ）より資金援助を受けています。本プロジェクトは、文化交流を通じて両国の絆を深めることを目指しています。
n 2025, the Cardiff Animation Festival (CAF) team will be traveling to Japan with a programme that features animated short films made in Wales.
The programme presents 7 films from filmmakers who are Welsh or based in Wales and provides the opportunity to experience the very best of our homegrown animation!
From stories about vengeful spirits to unique tales of love, fighting your inner demons, pet taxidermy, hide and seek and much more; this programme celebrates weird and wonderful work born in Wales. We can’t wait to share it with you in Japan. Cymru am byth!
Wales and Japan is funded by Wales Arts International via the Arts Council of Wales and British Council Wales. This project seeks to strengthen the connections between the two countries through cultural exchange.
