Kiana NAGHSHINEH
キアナ・ナグシネはマンハイム出身のドイツ系イラン人監督。バーデン＝ヴュルテンベルク映画アカデミー在学中に複数の受賞歴ある作品を制作し、学生アカデミー賞、Student BAFTA、アニー賞にノミネート。フリーランスとしてアニメーション監督やデザイナーとして活動。ナグシネは自身の作品において、アニメーションの多様な可能性を用いて複雑な感情を表現し、重いテーマに遊び心と親しみやすさをもって取り組む。このアプローチから新作短編『With Tapes and Toast in the Car』を制作した。
Kiana Naghshineh is a German-Iranian director from Mannheim. During her studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, she created several award-winning films and was nominated for the Student Academy Award, the Student BAFTA, and the Annie Award. As a freelancer, she works as an animation director and designer. In her own films, she uses the versatile possibilities of animation to express complex emotions and to approach heavy topics in a playful and accessible way. Motivated by this approach, she developed her new short film With Tapes and Toast in the car.
