SYNOPSIS
一枚のドローイングに何度も手を加え、スキャンを繰り返した。作画は紙にインクとホワイトで行い、サウンドデザインは作者自らが手掛けた。アダルトスイムの『オフ・ザ・エアー：パターンズ』でプレミア公開された。

Jake Fried
1984年生まれ。画家として芸術家のキャリアをスタートさせたが、レイヤー化やイメージ修整のプロセスを通じて、自分が本当に興味を惹かれているのは絵画が描かれていく過程におけるイメージのメタモルフォーゼであることに気づき、アニメーターへと進路を変えた。近年、彼の作品は、テート・モダンやサンダンス映画祭などで世界的に上映されている。
Jake Fried (b.1984) began his artistic career as a painter, but as he went through the process of layering and modifying images, he realized what truly interested him was the way the images metamorphosed in the course of making a painting and he changed tracks to become an animator. His experimental films have been widely shown internationally, including at the Tate Modern and Sundance Film Festival.
