1964年生まれ。1987年、日本大学芸術学部映画学科を卒業後、レーザーディスク株式会社（後のパイオニアLDC）で映画、アニメーションのレーザーディスクやビデオソフトの制作、宣伝を担当。1992年末に退社し、翌年、妻と10カ月間、世界一周旅行に。帰国後はフリーランスのライターとして、音楽、映画、デジタルメディアに関する原稿を執筆。2005年、株式会社IMAGICAのデジタル放送事業部（後のIMAGICATV、現WOWOWプラス）で、主にヨーロッパ映画のDVDやBlu-rayや放送番組を制作、ユーリー・ノルシュテイン、川本喜八郎、岡本忠成らの作品のデジタル修復、劇場公開、配信、パッケージ制作・発売も手掛ける。

Born in 1964. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art in 1987 with a degree in film studies, and worked for Laserdisc Inc. (later Pioneer LDC) where he was in charge of production and promotion of laserdisc and video software for films and animation. After leaving the company in 1992 and returning from a 10-month round-the-world trip with his wife, he worked as a freelance writer, writing on music, film and digital media. In 2005, he joined the digital broadcasting division of IMAGICA Inc. (later IMAGICATV, now WOWOW Plus), producing DVDs, Blu-rays and broadcast programs, mainly on European films. Also involved in the digital restoration, theatrical release, distribution and package production and release of films by Yury Norshteyn, Kihachiro Kawamoto, Tadanari Okamoto and others.
