9 Million Colors
SYNOPSIS
エビのフランにとって海は楽園。彼女の恐ろしいハサミは、欲しいものを何でも手に入れる。目が見えない魚ミルヴァにとって、海で毎日の生活はまさにサバイバル。フランはミルヴァの美しさに感嘆し、彼女に海の光景を伝えようとする。両者は互いの異なる境遇を乗り越えられるのか？
The ocean is paradise for Fran the shrimp. Her deadly claws take whatever they desire. For the blind fish Milva, it’s a daily fight to survive. Fran sees her as beautiful and wants her to see the ocean in the same way. Can they overcome their differences?

Bára ANNA
バラ・アンナ・ステイスカロヴァーは1992年チェコ共和国生まれ。監督、脚本家、アーティストとしてパペットアニメーションを中心に活動している。ボーンマス芸術大学とプラハ芸術アカデミー映画・テレビ学部（FAMU）で学んだ。短編『Fishermen』（2017年）、『Love Is Just a Death Away』（2020年）はともにBAFTA候補作となり、後者はチェコ・ライオン賞2部門にノミネートされ、SXSWでプレミア上映、90以上の国際映画祭で上映された。2021年にはプラハを拠点とするアニメーションスタジオDivizeを共同設立した。
Born in 1992, in the Czech Republic. Bara Anna Stejskalovais a director, writer, and artist focused on puppet animation. She studied at the Arts University Bournemouth and FAMU in Prague. Her short films "Fishermen" (2017) and "Love Is Just a Death Away" (2020) were both shortlisted for a BAFTA; the latter was also nominated for two Czech Lions, premiered at SXSW, and screened at over 90 international festivals. In 2021, she co-founded the Prague-based animation studio Divize.
