Girlfriends of Father
SYNOPSIS
父はかつて暴力的な人だった。彼の家庭内暴力によって二人の女性は彼の元を去り、その後、父は酒に溺れていった。ある日、息子は重傷を負い、病院でさえ回復の見込みはほとんどない。この出来事を機に、息子は家を捨てて旅に出ることを決意する。旅の途中、彼は偶然にも父の昔の恋人たちに出会った。
The father had once been a violent man; his domestic abuse drove two women out of his life, and afterward, he sank into alcoholism. One day, his son sustained a severe injury—so severe that the hospital offered little hope for recovery. Following this, the son decided to leave home behind. On his journey, he unexpectedly crossed paths with his father's former girlfriends.

CHEN Xi
シー・チェン（1985年、中国生まれ）は、現代的かつ個人的な体験を探求するフィクション世界を創造する多才なアーティスト。長編アニメーションを単独で制作できる世界でも数少ない人物の一人である。これまでの長編アニメーションは、アヌシー国際アニメーション映画祭、オタワ国際アニメーション映画祭、新千歳空港国際アニメーション映画祭、オポルト国際映画祭、ポルトアレグレ国際ファンタスティック映画祭、Cartoons On The Bay、Anibar国際アニメーション映画祭、Mostra de Cinema Fantàstic de Ponent、ANIMA、FIRST国際映画祭、デンバー・デジラティなど、数多くの著名な映画祭のコンペティション部門で上映されている。『Chicken Of The Mound』はソウルインディペンデントアニメーション映画祭で審査員特別賞を受賞ほか。
Xi Chen (Born in China, 1985) is a versatile artist dedicated to crafting fictional worlds that explore contemporary and personal experiences. Xi Chen is among the few individuals in the world capable of single-handedly producing feature animations. Xi Chen's previous feature animations have been honored in the Competition categories at prestigious festivals such as Annecy IAFF, Ottawa IAF, New Chitose Airport IAF, Oporto IFF, International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre, Cartoons On The Bay, Anibar IAF, Mostra de Cinema Fantàstic de Ponent, ANIMA, FIRST IFF, and Denver Digerati, among others. Chicken Of The Mound was awarded the Jury Special Prize at the Seoul Independent Animation Festival among others.
