The Night Boots
SYNOPSIS
両親が友人たちを招いている間、彼らの子が真夜中に家を出て、ゴム靴を履き、草むらの中へ。そこには好奇心旺盛で独りぼっちの奇妙な獣がいた。獣がその子を森の中心へと連れ出し、森に住む夜行性の動物たちと会わせることに。また独りぼっちに戻りたくない獣は、その子が家に帰るのをできるだけ遅らせようとする。
While his parents are welcoming friends, a child leaves home in the middle of the night and enters the undergrowth, wearing rubber boots. There, a strange beast, curious and solitary, will lead him into the heart of the forest to meet the nocturnal creatures that live there, and so as not to be alone again, will try to delay the child's departure as long as possible.

Pierre-luc GRANJON
ピエール＝リュック・グランジョンはリヨン応用美術学校で学ぶ。1998年にフォリアージュ・スタジオでアニメーションのキャリアを開始し、初のストップモーション作品『A Little Adventure』（2001年）、『The Other Kid’s Castle』（2003年）を制作。『The Tower』（マッツ・グロドゥ監督、フォリアスコープ制作、2019年公開）では助監督を務める。ジム・カポビアンコ監督による『The Inventor』は共同監督として初めての長編作品。短編『The Night Boots』はアム・ストラム・グラム・プロダクション製作。
Pierre-Luc Granjon studied at the Applied Art School of Lyon. In 1998, he began his career in animation in the studio Folimage and made his first two stopmotion films: A Little Adventure (2001) and The Other Kid’s Castle (2003). He was also first assistant director on The Tower (feature film in puppet and 2D by Mats Grodud) made in the studio Foliascope and released in 2019. The Inventor, by Jim Capobianco, is his first feature film as co-director. His short movie called The Night Boots is produced by Am Stram Gram Production.
